Grooming Valet

Gentlemens Gifts
Depicted on this heirloom quality case is a scene from The Open at St. Andrews in 1895.

The original painting was by (James) Michael Brown and shows JH Taylor playing from in front of the Swilken Burn to the first green. He is watched by a gallery of some of the best golfers of the time including Old Tom Morris, Bob Ferguson and John Ball.

JH Taylor had won The Open the previous year (1894) and was to win it in 1895 also. In total he won The Open 5 times and was one of the greatest golfers of all time, he was also to become a founder member of the British Professional Golfers Association.

Bringing back heritage and tradition this Gentlemen's Grooming Set contains a genuine Pure Bristle brush and specially formulated shaving soap that produces a luxury lather giving a real shaving experience from yester year.

Individually wrapped WILKINSON SWORD double sided blades are renowned for precision cutting edges, these are the watchword in sharpness, by tradition Wilkinson's made all the Swords for the British Military Officers.
After removing the grooming contents, the insert that they were held in can be simply lifted out to create a lifelong heirloom of a Gentlemen's Bedside catch all box.
